For accessibility, I like to route the external ins of my synths through a patchbay but with the dual function of the Sub 37's external in, this doesn't work as even with nothing plugged into the relevant patchbay socket, the synth still acts like there is an input and switches off the overload feature. Is there something I can do on the patchbay end to spoof the synth into thinking there is nothing plugged in? I'm pretty useless with electronics, but I was wondering if I can use some kind of dummy plug in the patchbay to achieve this?
Thanks in advance!

the switch is in the input of the synth. so no, you cant do anything on the patch bay.

I’m not sure Fullracecam is right.
I don’t know much about patchbays but I think some shows settings to determine whether each connector should be a switch or not etc.
To me, there is some hope

pulling the plug is the only way to get the feedback to work again. it doesn't seem to matter rather its plunged into anything on the other side.
