How to record Sub Phatty as MIDI into Logic 9, help?

Hey everyone,

I just got my hands on a Sub Phatty and I cannot for the life of me get it to record into Logic as MIDI. I can get it to record in to Logic as audio by using a 1/4 jack from the Sub Phatty audio out into the mic input on my soundcard, but I want to be able to record the synth in onto a MIDI track, as MIDI, so that I can go in and move the notes around and quantise etc. [Like is done in the below video I've put a link to] which obviously you can't when recording in as audio.

I've spent the last two hours watching YouTube tutorials and reading articles everywhere and nothing has helped. I'm new to hardware so not a clue. I have a MIDI cable I've tried using from the Sub Phatty MIDI out and into the MIDI in on my soundcard but still no luck!

Hi did you try connecting it with USB? Will probably be the easiest way as it will show up as an input into Logic.
