Hi,
My S37 intermittently sends out a constant stream of MIDI data. Specifically
Controller 90
Effect Control 2 (coarse)
Any idea why this is or if it should be doing it? The editor MIDI indicator strobes constantly while this is happening.
It looks like a faulty pot as the data value appears to be changing up/down by only 1
I've attached some MIDI monitor screen shots to demonstrate
Cheers.

Re: Sub 37 constant MIDI stream
I think controller 90 is the Arpeggiator BPM knob, while "Effect control 2" is CC# 13, which is the Beat Freq knob.
Maybe try wiggling them a little bit and see if the MIDI stream settles down?
If you don't need any of the knobs sending CC messages, that can be turned off in the MIDI menu. Yeah, didn't think so.

Re: Sub 37 constant MIDI stream
StarskyCarr - I don't think it's a faulty (analog) pot. Looks more like digital "jitter", where the analog-to-digital converter cannot get an exact digital value and so it is a slightly different value every time. Software usually smooths this downstream so we don't see it. It's random and could actually be any pot/any value.
Anyway...
Sub37 may have flipped a byte somewhere imho. I have experienced odd behaviour similar to this and fixed it.
1)
Try resetting the Sub37 - Global Menu 3 > Init
2)
If 1) doesn't fix it then try re-installing the latest firmware. Need to do it twice.
1st install seems to set it to Unknown version afterwards - see pic
2nd time - it comes back to normal version
Your presets should still there but always do a backup first of course.
