Sub 37 Editor with Windows XP

Have just down loaded the Editor. No mention of windows XP compatibility is alluded to.Will it work with XP ?
I have no need for the Editor per se, but would really like to have the Librarian function.

I'm always a bit nervous when updating my synths, as I read all the problems people experience. So don't
want to be attempting something that is never going to work anyway.

Regards
Andy

Hi Andy,

I spend my Sub37 an older Thinkpad, running XP SP3. The standalone version X86 of the editor is running smoothly. No probs. No install, just an .exe file.
On another PC, the editor is also running under XP, but connected via MIDI / AMT-8 Interface. Same here - no problems.
I didn't checked the VST version until now.

I also use the C6 SysEx tool for updating the Sub37 (manually)under XP, because the Moog Updater is not running under XP. But the manual update with C6 is easy, save and unbelievable fast (nearly 3 minutes).

Unfortunately the Phatty Tuner software from Moog does not see the USB Midi under XP. DIN-Midi is working.
I hope Moog will fix it some day.
However, the Editor recognizes USB.

Hope it helps,
cheers,
Bernard

yes, it works!
but I also take the old C6 sysex programm for updating the Sub37 manualy. because the new updater didn`t work.

@bernard so crazy, :P i also got win xp and the amt8. and never had any problems. But the amt8 also makes a change impossible.

wishes from frankfurt germany.
