Sub 37 Update bug/No midi
Sub 37 Update bug/No midi
Just updated the software for the Sub 37 in order to get the editor and now my Sub 37 suddenly no longer sends midi. I had the 104m following the clock of the Sub 37, since updating the 104m is no longer receiving a midi message. Anyone else had this happen?

When updating firmware, I believe the global settings return to defaults. it may be that a global setting related to MIDI is no longer set correctly.

I've just realised that Echo Din In: was off, dunno how I overlooked that . Sorted now, cheers.
Re: Sub 37 Update bug/No midi
The104m seems to stop responding to the midi clock and all the settings are correct, nothing has changed now since I checked the settings earlier. Strangely the lfo is responding to a midi signal the delay time sync gets knocked off and I have to send a midi message again. It would seem that its the 104m that's playing up but that's very unlikely as it's been synced perfectly for months and the moment I update the Sub 37 the issue occurs. Anyone else having anything similar?
Re: Sub 37 Update bug/No midi
Did you have the 104 connected (via MIDI) to the Sub37 when you did the update? If MIDI Thru was on then you may have sent sysex to the 104 and hosed it that way...
Re: Sub 37 Update bug/No midi
Yes it was connected when doing the update, I never considered that could be an issue.
Of course it is also possible that it could have just been coincidence, or perhaps I knocked something loose when putting the USB in, it's been fine since I re-sent the midi command again.
