I'm unable to play back custom sequences that are longer than 23 steps. Longer sequences will always reset at step 23. However, if I play back a factory preset like "08-05 Dorian Electra" it works so there must be something I have missed. What else do I need to do after I have recorded 32 notes?
Edit: It's working now. I don't know why but I know how to avoid the playback issue. Whenever I programmed a new sound I pressed the Init button once for Panel mode and then held it down until the synth was initialized. Long sequences would not play correctly. If I initialize the synth direcly long sequences do work. I thought initializing didn't depend on previous operations (like going from panel mode as in my case) but it seems it does.
