Sub 37 arp syncing?
Sub 37 arp syncing?
Has anyone been able to sync the arp on the Sub 37 with another synth? I have both the Tempest and P6 and I really want to sync all to the same beat. Any help would be appreciated!

Not to state the obvious, but the Arp Sync button is solid yellow, correct? And the synth that is sending midi clock is running its sequencer.

As jsharpphoto suggests, the sub 37 arp/sequencer syncs up fine for me as master or slave to anything that receives/sends midi clock.

No problems here syncing to the clock on an Analog Rytm.

Re: Sub 37 arp syncing?
It's possible too that it is syncd but doesn't yet sound like it due to the arp knob setting. I've found that the arp knob does some cool things relative to the incoming bpm. If you set the arp to somewhere close to the bpm in the master it should sync but if you move it away the arp will do dotted notes triplets etc. It's cool but a little weird that you still have to turn the knob manually to get it to sync exactly. Maybe there's some other setting to force the same timing.

For details on how the clock divider works when syncing to external clock, check pp. 15/52 of the manual.
