Sub37 Hanging MIDI notes on low or high octaves

When using my Sub37 as a MIDI controller in Live changing the KB Octave results in hanging notes... What baffles me is that the 37 is sending a note on message for the key I pressing but a note off message for the note one octave higher. Seems like a firmware issue unless I'm missing something. Any ideas?
