There are beta versions, and I am using one. But since I'm not sure if testers are supposed to disclose any information, I won't ;-)

Very cool. Very very cool! I saw somewhere I can email sometime at Moog and get a version, but I am easing my way into synthesis.

Are you using Mac or PC with it?

I'm a Mac user.

Any ideas of time frame?

I'd say, try writing a private forum message to Amos and see if they still need people for beta testing.

I use a Mac for everything music or graphics (Windows only for programming). But out of interest, I beta test the Moog stuff on both platforms.

Nope :)

By the way, yeah, a new patch was submitted by a fellow follower of the Sub 37 Cookbook blog.
I wish for more people to submit their patches, so the archive can grow and offer more different styles (instead of mainly reflecting the style of my own patches ;-) ).

Hopefully with the release of the Sub 37 editor and librarian software, more people will jump on board.

Could be a great resource. Is there a way to sign up for notifications when new patches have been shared?

Yes, you can follow @sub37cookbook on Twitter. Every newly added patch is tweeted there automatically.
The cookbook website also offers an RSS feed that you can follow, but I have to admit I didn't try that out yet ;-)

By the way, I also improved the patch submission form: you can now also attach a little MP3 file (max 500kb) if you want, to showcase the patch.

I don't use twitter. I guess I'll just check in here...

Don't forget about the RSS feed.
Any newsreader, and often even browsers, can read this:

Did you try to submit a patch? How big is the syx file? And did you attach any additional files?

OK, I tested the patch submission form several times in different browsers (Safari and Chrome on OSX and Windows), with different .syx files, with and without images... it always works.
If course, you have to click the "I'm not a robot" captcha button below, which only works with JavaScript enabled. That's the only thing I can imagine could go wrong.

And about the login: Since I don't want the editorial stress (whatever you do, there are always some trolls or spam bots that post crap in the comments), I have disabled comments entirely.
If you have feedback regarding the site or anything else, feel free to drop me a message.

Some minor news: The Sub 37 Cookbook now features streaming audio previews for all patches!
At least for all the patches that I made myself, and for all patches were submitted with an .mp3 file.
Now you can listen to a patch even without downloading it and copying it to the synth!
