i just bought a brand new sub phatty and as soon as start playing with it I noticed a problem with both of the A keys. when you press them they fill stiffer then the rest and both make a creaking noise like if they are scraping something. is that an issue that somebody else has, i am worried that eventually they will get stack or brake

Hi Raftorella,
This is absolutely not normal and doesn't sound like something that would have been missed here at the factory.
It could be related to an impact of some sort. Please contact your dealer and have them exchange it ASAP.
Additionally, you may also contact our service department and we will be happy to provide you with other options and assist you quickly.

This is exactly the issue - creaking noise - why I sold my Subphatty.
I have had it repaired and got a brandnew keyboard instead but after a while the same plastic noise again.
The keyboard on the SubPhatty plays and feels like a toy. Its is a pitty for such a good machine.

I hope once Moog will come with a Phatty with quality keys. Than they really have a winner.

It is absolutely normal. The same thing has occurred with mine. Great sounding synth with appallingly poor keyboard. Not sure what they were thinking when they decided to cut corners on the keyboard. Sad.
