Update: SN1066 developed the filter knob issue, and so I took it down to the factory first thing on a Monday morning. Nick came out and told me he could fix it in 20-mins if I wanted to hang out. So, I took my dogs for a walk around downtown Asheville, and came back to find everything done and waiting for pick-up. :D

Details: Apparently an entire circuit board gets swapped out, and the filter knob in the current build is the same knob used for the Voyager. It does have a heavier feel to it. Me like.

That's an interesting status update.

I wish we had some internal pictures of the Sub37 to see what changes have been made...

Thanks everyone for contributing here :-).

SBT: 00699

Purchase: 08/14
Purchased from: Moog Inc., artist
Owner: Jonathan Herrera, San Francisco, CA
Cutoff pot started to act up. Would go in and out and jump around frequencies. Moog performed rush service (needed it for tour) and it has worked flawlessly since.

Yes indeed! Would be great to hear back from Moog on which SN's began recieving the Voyager knob and circuit board!?

My SN is early 3000's and I don't think it has the heavier knob - that is something I would be prepared to pay for and install myself if it was not too difficult a job.

I second that! I'd pay for the upgrade. Filter cutoff seems of the same smoothness all the other knobs on mine. I guess no Heavier Voyager pot on mine.
