NRPN messages to/from the Sub 37

Hi guys, I came across this while reading the Sub 37's manual:

"Since the Sub 37 has over 150 parameters saved with each sound, it is not possible to assign a standard MIDI
CC to every parameter. For complete MIDI output from every panel knob and button, you will need to set the
KNB NRPN/CC parameter to NRPN mode."

I've been struggling to set the KNB NRPN/CC parameter to NRPN mode in Logic Pro X 10.1, and I've been doing some research on it, only to come to the conclusion that this isn't clear how to be done in Logic at all...

It may seem as a noobie question, but I don't get offended
I'd really appreciate if somebody clarifies it for me.

The KNB NRPN/CC parameter is in the menu of the Sub 37. Page 34 of my PDF manual says the parameter is under OUT FILTERS (MIDI MENU 3.3).

Thanks for the answer, I've tried it, but when I'm recording in Logic, and go to the parameters automation, the Value Range is still 0-127 (as in CC), and I'm trying to get to that NRPN because of the 0-16374 value range...

Maybe there's something to be done within Logic, which I don't get?

If you're looking for higher precision, you need to look at another setting: CC FORMAT (7-bit/14-bit). NRPN lets you access more parameters, but doesn't increase the precision of the values. You don't necessarily need NRPN for 14-bit precision.

Also explained on page 34 of my PDF manual:

CC FORMAT
Chooses if Continuous Controller data is sent using 7-bits or 14-bits (for greater precision).
If this level of MIDI precision is not needed, stay at 7-bit (default) as it uses up less MIDI bandwidth.

7 bits allow for 2^7 = 128 different values (0-127)
14 bits allow for 2^14 = 16384 different values (0-16383)

This setting is also in the OUT FILTERS menu.

The receiving MIDI device/software needs to support 14-bit values, but I believe Logic Pro X supports this. 14-bit values are actually sent as two 7-bit messages representing a single value. Sending 14-bit values requires sending twice the amount of data compared to the default 7-bit precision.

Alright, I've tried with 14 bits, but the value range get didn't changed to 0-16383 in Logic

So this means the NRPN just lets you access more parameters, but doesn't allow you to have more precision of the values and the greater precision (0-16383) is available when using CC only?

Can you or someone else please explain me how to access the NRPN parameters in Logic Pro X 10.1?
