Hi guys

I would like to ask to any more-expert-than-me user of this wonderful machine a suggestion for the best delay i can use in combination with the SUB-37.

An option that will probably influence my choice is the presence of a looper.

These models are the ones i've already selected :
- Moogerfooger MF-104M (Actually too expensive for me but amazing specs)
- Strymoon Timeline (Actually my favourite choice : true analog bypass with 30sec of hi-quality looper)
- Eventide Timefactor (True analog bypass with 12sec of hi-quality looper or 45sec in quarter quality)
- Pigtronix Echolution 2 Deluxe (No true bypass and no looper)

Please help! Thank you in advance!

With my 1973 Minimoog I get a wonderfully lush sound using a 30+ year old Yamaha E1010 Analog delay as well as a new Seymour Duncan Vapor Trail. Both are reasonably priced - especially the current Vapor Trail.
I like how both have modulation controls and how the Vapor Trail allows you to put an effect in the echo loop.

I would sugest the BugBrand PTDelay. Super playable, and it sounds fantastic. I like it a lot more than my MF-104M

Get it quick while he still has them in stock.

Strymoon Timeline is amazing! It's certainly not your ordinary delay effect, but much more... endless fun. The only drawback -- if you get Timeline, you'll want to get BigSky :)

Take a look at TC Electronic Flashback X4 too. MIDI sync, looper and an editor software for computer and mobile devices.

Also, the Strymon El Capistan is a wonderful mid priced unit.

That's what I use too and you won't be disappointed given the reasonable price

Sorry, for me it would look like driving a ferrari with a trailer full of waste ;-)
Using these kind off BBD delays (especially the PT23.. series), one don't need such an noble sounding synth like the sub37.
justmy2cents ...

As this is my first posting, I want to say a cordially 'hello' to all folks at this forum.

I at first used a pigtronix 2 deluxe, but sent it back because of its sound. It was never a pure sound, but always with cutted high frequencies even if the filter was bypassed. It also had some digital artefacts.
I bought the new Korg SDD3000, which I'm very happy with at my Sub37 (in combination with a TC HallOfFame).
For another synth (NL3) I first bought a TC flashback X4, but it has no MIDI parameter control, so I swapped it with the Strymon Timeline, which ist superb and also a great suggestion for the Sub37.

cheers,
Bernard

I'm also looking for a delay.. Im thinking either the smaller Moog one or Vapor Trails, anyone got experience with both?

no, no midi on the Mf-delay. However, it's easier then you would think to find that sweet spot. And better still; most slightly off beat repeats are the funkiest! You will never find those with a sync'd delay..

I'm using a TC Electronic Flashback Mini Delay and an old Ibanez Soundtank DL5. The latter is not manufactured anymore, but the Flashback Mini sounds great and wasn't expensive at all.

There is also a Lexicon MX300 that I'm using for reverb on my mixer, but it also has a decent Tape Delay. Maybe worth taking a look at if you are going to need some more effects anyway. Also, it can be synched via MIDI.
