Is it possible to do a firmware update that can unlock all of the modulation destinations of the Sub 37 in the Sub Phatty? I think that would be awesome!

What knobs/buttons would you be using for this feature? (Considering that the Sub Phatty doesn't have a display and menu system.)

If the hardware can handle it then programming it using a PC editor might be a possibility. I certainly would not want to do it using onboard under the hood functions. Even using an editor I'm not sure how practical it would be. Without the PC being connected you would have no way of knowing what's going on with a patch.

If it were to be implemented I would like to see the ability for it to connect with the VST editor as well as be mapped to external midi controllers. I currently use the arturia beatstep to control all of the under the hood functions of the phatty and it works great with the vst editor.

I agree that the hands on aspect, as well as the being able to know where you are in a patch is critical. Some of the modulations of the Sub 37 seem possible to do with the Sub Phatty and also very creative and meaningful to the sound.

well it certainly would useful for those who have both an sp and an s37: they could use their s37 as an editor for their sp. :)

and of course, it would be great for polychaining your sp to your s37...
