Arp/sequencer with local off: Sub 37
Arp/sequencer with local off: Sub 37
Does anyone know if it is possible with the Sub 37 to get an arp or sequence going, and then switch to local off while it is running? I want to use the Sub 37 keyboard to trigger an external sound module via MIDI, and play along with the arp/sequence. It seems that if an arp/sequence is playing and I turn local off for the keys (or 'all'), then the arp/sequence stops. Is there any way around this?

I'm thinking I can maybe do this by triggering the gate input. Does anyone know of a very simple way to trigger this? It looks like it will need a little more than an on/off switch wired to a 1/4" plug.

Hello,
In the lokal off mode i trigger the sub37 arp via a note on messages from my cubase Sequenzer. Without a sequecer you can use every cheap midi keybord to trigger.

This is for live use with no computer/external sequencer.
I know I could get a cheap midi keyboard, but I'm trying to keep the setup compact.
All I need is a simple switch to trigger the Sub 37 to start its sequence...I know there must be a simple way to do this, if not with just simple switch triggering the gate input, maybe a switch and voltage from a battery...? I have tried to find online what I need for this but have had no luck.
