Hey everyone--has anyone else purchased/started using the Moog-made dust cover for the Sub 37? Mine is very Very tight and hard to get on. I have to really stretch it over each corner...
I'm afraid this might damage the side panels.
Just wanted to know if this is normal or if my dust cover was cut incorrectly.

Maybe you're not supposed to put a dust cover on it because it should never go unused long enough to collect dust?

I used to have a dust cover for the Minimoog OS and it was really loose. I wouldn't force the dust cover over, there's probably a sizing issue there.

I have that cover for my Sub 37. It is a bit tight. I found that by first hooking onto the back corners, and then stretching it forward, worked better than going side-to-side. And perhaps after doing it a few times it has loosened. It seems snug but not too tight now.

My problem, though, is that I have to disconnect the audio, power and MIDI cables in order to put the cover on. I'm planning on buying some cables that all have the right 90 degree angle on the connectors to solve this problem, but for now I just disconnect each time.

I use some of those 90 degrees jacks and if you plan to have all audio + CV connections in permanence, be aware that you might lack room because the input jacks are in a cavity.
Plus there were some rehearsals when I had no sound at first. It turned out to be some Hicon 90 degrees jack that needed to be well plugged.

My point is: try this before buying.

The cover I just received for my 3 day old Sub 37 indeed fits like a glove but as aforementioned post suggested, placing the back half on then sliding the front top half on, then place straps on each corners-all works a charm. Matter-in-fact, after placing it on and off a few times, this high quality cover ever so slightly becomes more pliant and forgiving to where although all the inputs/outs/power are in a recessed left side, I am able to leave all my connections on with cover in place (when I cannot stop playing it and need to eat/sleep/bodily functions/give cat love), and simply leave that small left edge rest over them, while totally protecting but also all other parts of synth is as well.
Sounds nuts but you can also try this since there is a vinyl shell and then the plush interior: Take a blow drier and evenly warm areas for "adjustment" or even leave on your deck in 90 degree sun and then place on and "mold it a bit".
Totally worth it for such a fine instrument.
It's also extremely well-made.
Looks so cool...but the Sub 37 looks so cool on it's own as I love the amber lights used...the light show feature is kind of an inspirational tool for me in "A Clockwork Orange" kind of way!
