Thanks, it was really all about the unboxing there :D
By the way, when you turn it on how long does it takes to warm up and become stable in its tuning?

Cheers
About 5 minutes.

We need info Voltor! ;)

Video would be nice but take your time and get something decent out. But what I would like is your immediate thoughts. How does it sound, does it give you the bumps?

Sound wise it is similar to my Little Phatty. I haven't delved into it too deeply yet. I imagine it's capable of some pretty gritty stuff. I also own a Synthesizers.com modular, as well as the Taurus 3, but the Sub 37 is definitely a fierce competitor.

Good stuff man.

I can't wait to get into those 2 mod sections and get weird.

They have posted some documentation (though not the complete manual yet).

There is a MIDI implementation chart, and a menu reference.

http://www.moogmusic.com/products/phatt ... nloads-tab

This item in the menu reference made me smile:
LIGHT SHOW (GLOBAL MENU 2.4)
You can use this parameter to amuse your friends and confound your enemies. When set to ON, the front panel LEDs flash in a 1960s “futuristic” manner. While perfect for breaks between sets and television appearances, the default is OFF since you can’t see any of your button choices when it is animating. You can use the APREGGIATOR RATE knob to change the speed of the light show.

Thanks!
I was listening to Mozart's Confutatis Maledictis when I wrote it, so the phrase was on my mind.

Looking at the menu reference it appears that poly chaining did not make it into the first cut. It says "this feature is not presently active" for the POLY NUMBER and POLYMAX parameters. I wonder when it will be available.

I guess the light show is more useful

I'm just whining because it will be some time before I can confound my enemies.

I promise:
The very first time you hear the Filter and Amp EGs looping at audio speeds, you'll know it was worth the wait. :)

I used audio rate to mean frequencies you can hear.

I don't have a measurement of it, but they can go from around once a minute up to a very fast buzzing sound.

I guess if I did the math...
If the Attack, Decay, and Release were each set at 1ms, then it should be able to do 333 loops in a second.

Shorter values would be even faster.

I just wondered because i had a modular system, and the Make Noise Maths...a multipurpose module that can also be used as envelope generator goes into very high audio range, when looped...but what you just described is also already cool, esp. because Filter and amp env can be looped individually plus each of the env parts can also get modulated by the two LFO. Crazy!

And... each of those Envelopes can also be independently SYNC'd to clock with any unit of the beat from 4 Whole Notes to 1/64th Triplets.
