Sub Phatty BAGS --> notes about carrying case

Post by jasonduerr » Thu Oct 17, 2013 11:02 am

All,

I have a Sub Phatty and a DSI Evolver keyboard.

Purchased two (full size) Phatty bags for transport, and I am so happy.

Sub Phatty has a little extra room, which is good for my firewire interrface, microphones, cables, etc.
Evolver fits perfectly with some wiggle room, too.

Cases are very high quality and look fantastic.

Just wanted you to know, go buy several because they are so useful.

Thanks,
Jason

It'd be nice of this forum had a "Like" button :-)

Just trying to balance things, not all posts should be about problems, but also about what goes right!

Thanks for the review. I'm thinking about the bag too and wondered about the material quality. Right now I'm using a rolling suitcase which does the job but isn't exactly musical looking.

Are you talking about the new Sub Phatty gig bag or the older Little Phatty gig bag or Little Phatty molded ATA case?

I was actually hoping for a Sub Phatty molded ATA case, but I guess I'll be getting the gig bag as that's all I can get my hands on right now. I e-mailed Moog to ask about the possibility of a molded ATA case for the Sub Phatty a while ago, but I got no reply.

Specifically, I am talking about the Little Phatty bag.

Not the Sub Phatty bag.

I purchased my first one about 5 minutes before the sub bag was even on the market.
And I like having the extra room to put cables and other stuff in it.

I'm sure the sub phatty bag is just as good
