Is there an ETA for the Sub Phatty Molded ATA Case?

Gig bag is fine, but I'm paranoid when traveling. When can I expect to be able to purchase a molded case for my Sub Phatty if ever?

If nothing else, try getting one custom made from a case company. :)

I called a few and am getting quotes in the $600US range. They may be quality, but that's a bit high for me. I guess I'll wait and hope.

Actually I'd take a Little Phatty Stage2 case if there was a clean way to keep the SubPhatty from sliding.

A rectangular block (or two) of rigid foam would likely do well to prevent sliding and provide a compartment for cables, a Fooger, or whatever. $299 for the LP Molded case is a steal I think (not sure of quality but it looks nice in the pics).

I have one. It survived a round-trip to Asheville from Chicagoland via UPS, undamaged. Not even a scratch. Can't say the same for the Taurus 3 case...it was beat to high hell, but it still works.

Look in to a Pelican case. Also, $600 seems very steep. I've had larger customs flight cases made for half that. Try King kase in Wi.

Bump!

I'm currently gigging with the sub phatty and I'm desperately in need of a case. Any ideas?
