Go to the Edit menu 4.1 and choose the Glide Modes menu, there you have the new glide modes. What they actually do dunno, still experimenting with them. Cheers

I haven't updated yet, but the new glide modes seem like something you'd need to try before you understood them.

Video anyone?

It seems this update is only for the keyboard version?

If so, anything similar in the pipeline for the RME?

Go to the RME page on Moog's web page:

http://www.moogmusic.com/voyager/?secti ... uct_id=161#

Then click on the software tab. You'll find an RME version of the upgrade there.

I didn't even check ;-)

Thanks for hinting at the obvious place...

I want to thank Rudi Linhard and Moog for this great update.

It makes the Voyager even more fun to play with.

I played with the new glide modes today. Totally awesome! Great work on the update.
So this thing only plays one note?

Glide Modes - There are now 8 glide modes. 1 of 8 is stored in a preset. This determines how
Glide behaves when the Glide switch is ON.
Mode 1: Normal Glide (glide is always on)
Mode 2: Legato Glide (glide is only on when you play legato)
Mode 3: Legato Glide to 2nd Only (glide is off when not playing legato, when the first note of a
legato phrase is played, and when returning to the first held note of a legato phrase. Glide is on
for the 2nd + notes of a legato phrase.)
Mode 4: Legato Glide back to First only (glide is off when not playing legato, when the first note of
a legato phrase is played, and when subsequent notes are played legato, glide is on when
returning to the first held note of a legato phrase)
Mode 5: Legato 1st Note (Glide is on if not playing legato and is Off when playing legato)
Mode 6: Mode 4+5 combined (this is Glide mode 4 and 5 combined)
Mode 7: Legato back to first = glide off (Glide is On when not playing legato, and when playing
legato but is turned off when returning to the first held note of a legato phrase)
Mode 8 : Legato Glide toggling (for legato playing, glide is on for two notes, then off for two notes)

Clear as mud! I'd have to play it to understand it.

I think I like Legato Glide best, everything else plays a bit strange.

The complex Glides would probably be good for more professional players.

my favorite so far is mode 4, glide back to first ... a little tricky to play though.
