Thread for recordings you made with your voyager!

I love listening to my voyager and I guess your voyager sounds awesome as well! Let's take advantage of the internet and share our handmade mooguish music!

Voila, today i recorded this relaxing piece of (soft-)pornofunk using the voyager mainly to get a obscene bassline. The melody is played with my beloved dx7. Unfortunately the singing at the end is not mine, it's a sample from a cheap samplelib. Nevertheless I hope you enjoy it:

There's also folder on KnobTweak for this:

KT > Links > Voyager Recordings

Voyager owners are invited to post their song/demo links here.

Not to be forgotten, there are also folders for LP, Moogerfooger, Theremin & Taurus Recordings links.

- Greg

BTW: Nicely done, psicolor - very funky! I really liked it! :D

Oh, thank you! I didn't know it.

But wait, the Linklist on KnobTweak does not offer an option to comment on linked songs.

i received my brand new v-machine on thursday and just recorded new stuff. This tune features GSI MrTramp and GSI ORGANized running on the v-machine as well as the voyager and a well known drumloop. You may note that i utilized the mf-101 envelope filter excessively:-)

It's in the main posting area, but thought I'd put it in this special thread. i've been using the voyager more since I picked up the vx 351, and the ring mod.

I really need to record some real time tweaking with my voyager. I'm still getting a grasp on it, but it gets easier to work with every time I use it.

I posted a link to this about a month back... it has 90 stereo tracks of Voyager layered together (with very little else) to produce some epic space trance:

I recently finished this song. There's one track of Voyager in the chorus, a bunch of Voyager tracks in the chorus/breakdown, and the end is two voyager tracks, one sent through a zvex fuzz factory and the other through a devi ever bit mangler. And the MF-103 was used in a few spots.

My piece `Tristan' is almost entirely Voyager. On my website at -

http://sweep.infinite9ths.com

To be precise, from the beginning until the last few minutes it's all Voyager except for a couple of bars of plucked psaltery. Then it's Voyager plus Roland Vocoder and Arturia MiniMoog V, Fender Strat, my voice, and a voice sample from American singer Lauren Edman.

I checked this out and found it to be quite fat.

I have some Voyager recordings here www.thesimonsound.com (there is an album due March/April 2010) and also at my youtube page http://www.youtube.com/user/simonsound1

I use it for many things from basslines through to fx and as raw tones for anaologue tape loops. Some of the videos also show it in use with other gear such as Make Noise Wogglebug.

Thanks
Simon

Glad you liked the track! Yours aren't too shabby either - looks like we're both fans of big bass, intense harmonics and fat synth sounds. How are you liking your Sherman? I'm about to pick up a rack FB2 to play with my Voyager and 'Foogers. How many rack units does it take up? I've looked all over and can't seem to find that info anywhere!
