quickly changing presets during performance

Post by goldphinga » Tue Jul 06, 2004 6:41 am

seems there a couple weeknesses in the voyagers interface that i have only now discovered after a month of owning the beast. the first as mentioned in another topic is the lack of octave up and down switches which are essential for quick octave changing. i really hope this can be addressed somehow!

following on from this, the lack of numeric keypad is really starting to get on my nerves. if i have a sound in location 10 and one in location 1 and want to flick between them quickly, it seems impossible. surely 10 cursor button presses isn't the only way to do this?

anyone discovered a way round this particular shortcoming? :(

I have experienced the same "problem". I solved it by arranging the sounds in the order I need them live.
On the other hand you could always use an external MIDI device to send a Program Change Message to the Voyager. There are small boxes doing so available. And an other keyboard/synth might help too. But remember to enable Program Change Messages in the Master menue first.
keep on turning these Moog knobs
