Yes, I totally agree with the fact that I'm not so bothered of 500+ made, but just out of curiosity, I would like to know the final number made. That is if they have indeed now 'stopped manufacture' of the OS.
One thing is for sure, and that is that whatever the final number, it's still a very small production run compared to other models.
And the main thing is that I've bought mine because I love the instrument for what it is. I enjoy it and intend to keep it.
I haven't looked at it as a means of investing to make money (although it would be nice if it did)! But who knows what the future brings?

Moog of a couple built 150 copies over the 500 series number or there are a few people with lots of fun...

Hi studiodragon,

are you sure about the number of +150 units?
Is there a possibility to differ the first 500 from the new ones visually?

Bests,
Luke

What's wrong with a company that provides a product that people want? I say let them make many more Old Schools (Maybe an Old School XL with a Touchpad).

I was initially pissed that they extended their Taurus run, but then I thought...hey, let them do whatever they can do to keep their clientele happy and stay in business in these trying times.

More power to them and to the OS!
