upgrades for the voyager

Post by redeyeflight » Mon Dec 11, 2006 4:24 pm

Has anyone gotten the aftertouch upgrade for thier voyager? Is it worth getting? I noticed a lot of people are getting a filter glide mod done...what exactly is this?
Thanks!!!

I have the aftertouch upgrade and it really makes the AT more expressive and controllable.

The filter glide mod routes keyboard tracking for the filter through the glide generator. Original model D minimoog did this, but it was missed in the Voyager. I also have this mod and believe it to be essential, not just because it emulates the minimoog.

I ordered and installed the aftertoucht field fix.
It was easy to instal.
And now the aftertouch is makeing sense.
But some people do not use it at all, so it depends on that, if the money is invested right.
And I do not miss the filter glide.
keep on turning these Moog knobs

Sequence:
Prodigy * minimoog '79 * Voyager * MF102 * MF103 * MF104z * MP201 * Taurus 3 * Minitaur * Sub Phatty * MF105 * Minimoog 2017+ MUSE * One 16

Did you order the kit form the Moog site?
It's addicting...
