Voyager Electric Blue Backlight problem

Post by Widge » Sun Feb 05, 2023 8:15 am

Hi all,
Have recently been trying to rehabilitate my Voyager Electric Blue after a long period in indoor storage. The presets had turned to gobbledegook, but a factory reset and installation of the latest firmware seems to have brought it all back to life. So just one problem remains; the backlight dimmer pot no longer functions and the lights are on full all the time. Given that the backlight is reputed to have a limited lifespan, I would like to get this functioning again. Does anyone have experience of a similar defect or know if this is a software or a hardware problem? I would also appreciate contact details of anyone in the UK of anyone who might be able to fix it. Thanks!

Sounds like a job for Source HHB https://www.hhb.co.uk they are the moog distributors and have an excellent repair department.
