Time to sell a kidney LOL probably won’t get enough , you’ll need to sell another vital organ to make up the difference.
You only need one kidney .

Good for them. People were selling the 2016 RI at a large markup, makes sense to just build more if there's demand. The new one looks slick.

I hope they update the firmware: the last version broke some things. Sounds like they added some features too? Hopefully the firmware runs on 2016 & 2022 models.

I saw some2016 model askings price used at $7000 grand. That’s reverb for you . One person asks an exorbitant price and then the copy cats follow and then ruin the market price by artificially inflating it. It’s probably even worse with vintage gear I would think. If I had those synths I would simply keep them. For me it’s not the money it’s the sound and feel of the instrument. I know there’s a price attached for everything but it’s good that more people have a chance to own a Minimoog with modern features and is new. I always wondered why moog would discontinue its iconic synth when there’s so much demand for it ,although I know they come out with new products to replace old ones. It would be great to have the new 2022 Minimoog although it’s out of my reach financially. I would like to get that sequential prophet5 rev 4 reissue before it’s discontinued and than reissued in a few years at a price that I won’t be able to pay. Courtesy of the people on reverb. Which kidney do you want the right one or the left one? LOL But sense I’m dreaming I’ll take the Minimoog 2022 the prophet 5 rev4 and the oberhiem ob8X. Almost as much collectively as my grand piano cost back in the 80s. Nothing like the real thing

You can’t always get what you want but if you try sometime you find you get what you need. Something like that don’t quote me I’m older than the orginal Minimoog modelD lucky I can remember at all. LOL

Looks like the sequential pro3 will be the poor man’s Minimoog. I have the SE its build quality is great as well as is the keybed. Another great synth and it’s paraphonic mono leaning. If I couldn’t get a voyager or a Minimoog I would tell someone to get that because it can be very moog like and yet do it’s own thing. I think it’s 37 keys though. Stereo effects three filters different than the voyager though. The moog voyageris much bigger build wise. Two of my favorite synths. I’ve heard some really great Studio Electronics synths though that are up there sonic wise with the Minimoog. Thier
Rack though no keyboard but another good option in case you want a synth that can sound like a Minimoog. And can’t afford the price.

Sure, if I had the money. Wouldn't you?

It's the same instrument.

Not crazy about the spring loaded wheel, but you could probably disable it.

Sure it would be great to have one. I think it’s a little different not much though. 6 years later the price is different though LOL. Glad I have a voyager at least. Analog rules

Best analog monophonic synth money can buy. Now which kidney did you say left or right you wanted to sell LOL. Great synth now just think if we wouldn’t make such a big deal about it probably wouldn’t cost so much or be so coveted.

I get being all about an instrument. I was like that about my piano when I got it . Didn’t sell a kidney though just didn’t really eat much cause all my bread went for payments. To be young again .
