Minimoog Replacement Transformer.

Post by CarsonWalls » Sat Jul 30, 2022 11:50 pm

I have recently started working on a Minimoog Model D from September 1972. This synth sat in storage unused in a basement for at least 20 years. I have replaced the Rectifier Caps, Power Switch, And Power Cord. When I try to power it on the power light comes on but the outputs of the transformer into the rectifier board are wrong. One is oscillating between 0v and around 4v (measured between the green and yellow wires on the rectifier board), and the other is dead (between the red and yellow wires). What are the outputs of the transformer supposed to look like, and how should I go about sourcing a replacement transformer?

I know it's been awhile, but I just found this forum. I was looking up the transformer I used to repair one of these 15 years ago.
