Voyager Midi In/Midi Out Problem upon restart?

Post by thenewnoise » Sun Nov 10, 2019 8:57 pm

Hi, new Voyager owner here :). Searched this in forum but could no find... Whenever I restart my Voyager the midi in my master functions section setsmidi in/midi out to off so I have to change this every time it's powered on. Is there any way to make it default to midi in/out to always be on? Thank u!

Hi,
it is not like this here. Strange. I am not aware of a way parameter to switch this from one to another way it works.
What firmware version is on your Voyager? Maybe it was a bug on an outdated version.

I concur with Till. Global settings should just save without doing anything extra. Have you tried power cycling with your midi cables disconnected? Maybe some errant sysex message is getting in? Otherwise I'd check to see what other master or panel settings are not being saved.

this problem occurs when the System version and the Boot version is not the same.

Thanks for the replies. How do I make sure boot version and system version are the same?

It is an item near the end of the MASTER menu.
