Filter adjustment @ Moog Voyager

Post by plasmatron » Tue Jan 16, 2018 6:14 am

Hallo people, I have here an 8-year-old Voyager with filter glide Mod. The keytracking and Octave I have been able to set properly. But the filter spacing is off. In zero position, the right filter is 10% more open. Also you notice in the closed position slight phase shifts between the left and right filter, which is noticeable by extinctions. It is subtle, but noticeable

I would like to receive a reconciliation instruction. Oscilloscope and multimeter are available

I would be so happy!

(Sorry, my englisch is from the google Translator ;-) )

I can barely understand you mate, what is your mother tongue?

This sounds very much like something that can be solved with a calibration, Moog tech support can guide you through the process

Do you think I should contact the Moog Service right away? I was hoping that the reconciliation instructions would be plain text or PDF.

Many users have had to do so

We (Audiotecna) are an official service center for Colombia, and I have done this kind of procedures to several units, however I am not authorized to share the documents here

Please contact the official support for your country, or speak to Asheville directly:

Ok I understand. What I'm not quite clear, I ask for an adjustment and not to schematics or boards layouts. There are probably 3 trimpots and the box is running again ...

In my opinion, there are forums for such things, my Voyager is not broken, he has only pretended

Thanks dir your help

regards

you are right, this is only an adjustment and only means moving trimmers. it is something you can easily do yourself

did you try speaking with Moog support?
