Controlling a Voyager using a ROLI Seaboard

Post by electricmonk » Fri Oct 20, 2017 4:09 am

Hi all,
New user of an old Voyager (just bought used), excited to finally own a Moog!

Anyway, I'm playing around with my ROLI Seaboard Rise and trying to control the Voyager. So far the best solution I found was using Logic Pro X as an intermediate patch / remapping device, as the "Slide" feature of the Seabaord sends MIDI CC 74, which in the Voyager controls OSC1 Octave.

All in all this is really cool, but I was wondering if anyone else did something similar and would mind share tips / presets? I this video with someone controlling a Mother32 via a Seaboard Block, which is a bit different than a Rise, and apparently has controls that are easier to remap.

I use Bitwig, but I've done something similar with Slide / CC 74. I've also hooked up aftertouch (see linked images).
