Model D Reissue Osc in offset

Post by 251 » Thu Sep 28, 2017 1:45 pm

Hello,

Nice forum! I'm having a lot of fun with my new mini,
but one question just came up and I hope you can help.
If I plug a mono cable into the OSC input (not connected
to anything yet), the mini will suddenly be out of tune by about
two tones. If I put the other end of the cable for example into the
pressure out, it will be out of tune by "only" a semitone then.
I tried multiple cables.

Does this happen on your units, too? I think my mini did not behave
like this some days ago...

My Model D Reissue behaves the same way. Pitch rise with TS (mono) jack in the Oscillator CV input; not quite as much pitch rise if the other end goes somewhere, e.g. the After Pressure.

Thank you! So I guess it's normal for the model d. I don't have too much experience with using CVs.
