Hi guys
I just ordered a Minifooger Drive for my Voyager XL. Now I want to know, does it matter how loud I drive the insert on the XL? I mean...can there be any damage or can I push the volume into the voyager filter as much as I like?
Another thing...how you use the Mooger-Minifoogers in general...mostly on the insert or more after the mainout?
Thx for feedback.

Re: Voyager Insert Question
I have my MF Boost hard-wired into the insert path of my XL, but my MF Drive I have routed in / out on my mixer (X-32 Rack). I figure I always use the boost to enrich the volume of the XL, but can use the Drive for other synths in my studio as needed.

Re: Voyager Insert Question
Well, my question was more about the possibility, if there can brake something when using to high levels on the insert. I guess not...but wanted to be sure.
I have the Minifooger Drive now and its a great tool to add some distortion to the Voyager. How is the Boost compared to the Drive? As I have sometimes the feeling, that the Voyager is a bit low in Volume and high frequency presence, adding the Boost on the Insert might help without changing the tone too much?

Re: Voyager Insert Question
A more flexible solution would probably be an equalizer. You can use an EQ as a boost, but choose how much to boost (or cut) each frequency band it has a control for.
