Voyager XL ribbon controller problems?

Hi all

I just got a Voyager XL. Unfortunately the ribbon controller seems to act up. Please see the attached video as an example. I got a local Moog repairman to give me a quote of 150 euro to get it fixed, but just wanted to post it here, and see if any of you guys have had similar issues with the ribbon controller, or its just mine?

Will probably get it repaired either way, but please let me know if you guys had the same issue!

That was some cool sounding stereo though. Did you initialize the original parameters in the menu and start from scratch, routing the ribbon just to pitch? And then if possible turn the ribbon controller's control over the synth off and then use the CV outs to the pitch and then see if you get the same effect.
Is it on all presets?
