Need Voyager midi Note on to override Note off

Post by acolbourn » Fri Jan 13, 2017 5:25 pm

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone knows how to get the voyager to use the midi note on to override note off? Currently until the note off is received my voyager won't play the next note. What this means is that I have to have each note end before the next note is sent which is super tedious and destroying my productivity. When I send overlapping notes to my minitaur it behaves differently and plays the new note as soon as its received regardless of other notes that are playing. Is there a setting that would make this possible on the Voyager too? Attached is an example pic, on my Minitaur these 2 clips sound identical but on my Voyager the overlapping one is completely screwed up.

Read the manual but can't seem to figure this one out, this is possible on the Voyager right?

Thanks

Have you checked the keyboard mode on the Voyager? It should be set to 'last note'. You can find that in Edit Mode.

From the manual, page 53:

3.3 KEYBOARD MODES
KEYBOARD MODE allows you to select one of 4 types of keyboard
priority for a preset. The keyboard priority determines what happens
when more than one key is pressed on the keyboard. To set the Keyboard
Mode, use the +/-1 buttons to select one of the following options:
Lower Key (the lowest key pressed sounds)
Higher Key (the highest key pressed sounds)
Last Key (the most recent key pressed sounds)
1 Key Only (the first key pressed sounds)
