I have the original board in my Electric Blue, running software 2.5. Can this software be upgraded to the 3.x versions? I know that I won't have the additional banks of presets... but just wondering if I should stay on 2.5 or update it.
Thanks!

Re: Electric Blue software v2.5 upgrade questions
You can upgrade to the 3.xx software without problems. But be sure to do a backup of your sounds first (I think I remember you actually had to do this at one point of the updates). And read the manuals that came with the upgrades.
There should be some postings about this subject on this forum.
The only thing you won't get by upgrading is the extended multi bank memory. You need a different hardware revision of the digital board. But all other 3.xx software features will work fine without the hardware update.
