I played at a party a couple months ago and used my Samson 65a active monitors and 120a active subwoofer. I wasn't really happy about the sound (we were playing in a kitchen and had the speakers up inside the kitchen cabinets). But they sound really good in my home setup! The sound:price ratio is perfect!

Anyone go through some type of tube amp? I think it would add a cool dimension to an analog synth.

The basses from a synth won't blow guitar cabs??? Wouldn't bass cabs be better?

Re-reading the first post in this thread I see the error/confusion I created.
I don't use the setup I mentioned for anything other than home entertainment.
That being the case; I limit my power (playing in a small room) and these cabs serve me well.
Still rox!

I play left hand bass on the Voyager in an R&B band and I use an old Moog Synamp biamped to push a Bose 802 and a Peavey 2x15 bass cabinet. Serious pumping especially on those low B notes.

I use my David Eden bass rig. The head is a wt-550 and the cab is a 410xlt. The bass player for my band is super jealous of the massive sub sounds I can get! :)

My wt-550 never let me down.
I really like those grand national 2018 dates. There's something special about them. It's all about grand national club, which I like. Yeah, it's a perfect place for me.

I use whatever PA system located, small or large, monitoring by headphones or in ear. If go with a single amplifier/speaker I would defenitly buy a Bose L1 compact - it is clean, powerful and beautiful as the Voyager.
