Voyager to ipod. How?

Post by sir_dss » Sun Dec 21, 2003 3:02 am

Ok...Please be patient with me. I don't use computers with my Voyager but I'm thinking of trying to download some pure wave forms from the Voyager into my ipod for live tone generation. I have NO clue as how I can do this.

Can some one explain the process to me in steps and suggest how to do this very basicly?

I have a Mac G3 running OS 9.2.2. No midi hardware on the computer.

I'm not thinking of getting too into the computer music thing so I don't want to invest that much into this.

Thanks

Piece of cake!

1) Use any recording application. I believe SimpleSound is a free application you can use

2) Using the sound in port, record your sounds.

3) Save the sounds in AIFF format

4) Open the sounds in iTunes

5) Plug in your iPod and transfer the sounds to it.

Good luck!

Great... Thanks alot.

But one more question.

Is the program that allows you to save the sound in AIFF found in SimpleSound?
