Analog board of Old School: same as regular Voyager?
Analog board of Old School: same as regular Voyager?
Is the Old School analog board identical to the 404P of a regular Voyager?

Yes. It's the #11-404P same as all Voyagers.
Check the photo here of a VOS opened up and zoom in. You can clearly see the board number.

It is identical to the one I have in my regular Voyager indeed, the only difference I noticed is two missing capacitors soldered on top of R338 (100 μF) and R341 (1 μF) in my unit. Did it come out of factory like that?

I have no idea, not having a schematic of the board. If it doesn't look like anything has ever been soldered in there and removed I really wouldn't worry about it. From the cap values they sound like bypass capacitors which may not have been needed in the VOS design.
Why do you ask incidentally? Are you planning a board swap between a VOS and a regular Voyager or something?

Nah, was just wondering if you intentionally removed them for some reason. They might be soldered on the other side of the PCB but they usually don't do that with electrolytic ones.Stevie Ray wrote:I have no idea, not having a schematic of the board.
