OS3.5

Post by JnGd » Sat Feb 13, 2016 12:02 pm

Hi,

when powering up the Voyager, the display is not showing the usual starting routine
it is telling me that the operating system has to be re-loaded, then, asking me if I want to re-load bank C
I did not re-load, press enter (with the "no" option), then after, I ended up with a single bank of 128 sounds
I dowloaded the operating system from MoogMusic dowloading center, will read and try to reinstall

I hope I will have fun in doing so !

You know, that the older Voyagers hardware was only able to hold one bank of 128 sounds. So this is not a bad or good sign.
keep on turning these Moog knobs

Sequence:
Prodigy * minimoog '79 * Voyager * MF102 * MF103 * MF104z * MP201 * Taurus 3 * Minitaur * Sub Phatty * MF105 * Minimoog 2017+ MUSE * One 16

Hi,

I agree with you Till, just wondering why & how it happened,
I'm going trough the midi-ox pages trying to understand and, if not,
I will give a call where I bought the "marvelous".

Hi,

well, let me tell you all that I'm happy to have succesfully brought back the "marvelous" as it was, indeed,
I re-loaded the bank C in the Voyager and every sounds are back, all banks A to G, I did not loose any
sounds from G66-G128.

Thanks to all who have posted topics on that matter and thanks to my nephew Sam for encouraging
me on this first sysex data transfer journey !

Happy Valentine's day...now !
