MoogerFooger Question

Post by HookedOnSonics » Wed Jul 22, 2015 11:49 pm

Just received a V-XL and got the go ahead to purchase Moogerfoogers, which was one of the reasons we got the XL (For the patch panel). We notice that the MF-104M SD is suspended and the regular is discontinued along with the MURF ... :-( We found a couple of dealers online that have MF-104M but they wanted three hundred more over base price of 699, $1000.00 for them. Should we be concerned here that Foogers are being phased out?

Thanks for any and all FEEDBACK!!! Feedback!! feedback!

I wouldn't be surprised if the 104 comes back in some form before too long.

Thanks folks for the replies. I hope Moog finds the chips for the Super Delay, that's the one we are looking for. We notice on the MoogerFooger product site we can order a all-in-one pack with 101, 102, and Murf or Freq, both of which says their discontinued. Are we missing something here? Is this normal for Foogers to be listed as now you them now you don't? I'm neeeeeeeeeeeeew to MoogerFoogerNation and total confused on the offerings.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think "discontinued" just means that manufacturing has ceased. The product will continue to sell as long as inventory remains.

The MF104m Analog Delay's production is suspended - not discontinued (like the MF105m & MF107). My understanding is that they will continue production when they get ahold of more of the BBD chips.

...but I'm pretty sure the MF-104m SD was a limited offering.

Yup:
560 piece limited production analog delay based on the MF-104M. Features include 1.2 seconds of analog delay time, 6 NOS Panasonic BBD chips, and complete MIDI control.

I was looking at this as well and wondering the same thing. I went internet searching for the MF-104. I noticed Armen's had two left and the price was jacked up to $900.00. Then the next day they were going for $950-975.

Good to know we may yet see some more MF-104s. Wish I got one before when I had the chance.

Congrats on the XL pick up!
The folks at Armens are crazy. There are still a few 104m's on ebay and in different shops online. The SD is another story. I was able to get one last month at regular price, but it ended up being the last one, or I wouldve bought 2.
Hope you can find one. They are so good.

here are a couple on ebay at the moment:

Everything I have seen of Armens has been extraordinarily overpriced.
