Updating from previous beta version

Post by Acid Mitch » Sun Sep 14, 2014 9:24 am

Hi,
I'm trying to update my Voyager RME from version 3.5 beta (date 2.2.2010) to the version 3.5 firmware available on Moogs website.
When doing the update:

I load bank B.
The Voyager reboots and asks for bank D.
I leave "no" hit enter, go to update OS and load bank A , as instructed by Rudi here http://forum.moogmusic.com/viewtopic.ph ... 2&start=45
After bank A has loaded, the Voyager reboots and asks for bank D.
If I give it bank D i am returned to the beta os I'm trying to upgrade from.
If I don't give it bank D and go to update os again I am asked for bank A.
After bank A has loaded, the Voyager reboots and asks for bank D and so on ad infinitum.
Basicly all I can do is spend hours loading bank A over and over, or load bank D to return to the old OS.

how can I get this to update ?
I'd like to use the preset naming from a keyboard function, which is broken in the version of 3.5 I have.

Also, why are Rudi's instructions different from the documentation supplied by Moog with the updates ?

For the record, I'm using Windows Xp,RME Multiface and MIDIox for the update.

EDIT:
After reading in the thread that I linked to above, that some others had problems with the same update, I thought going back to an older OS and then trying the latest 3.5 might work.
Reverting to 3.3 worked and then updating to 3.5 looked like it worked, but it had reloaded the same version I had with broken naming from keyboard, dated 2.2.2010.

Can someone please confirm the update from here http://www.moogmusic.com/products/minim ... nloads-tab is the latest os update and has the "name presets from keyboard" function working ?
What date is it supposed to show in the Voyagers "software version" page ?
