Broken mod section?

Post by audiosculpture12 » Sat Aug 09, 2014 8:19 pm

Hi All,

Wonder if anyone can help. The mod wheel modulation bus (and possibly the pedal one!) seem to have broken.
A lot of patches have extreme LFO modulation, and I can't get expected results when programming.

The simple vibrato walkthrough on page 32 of the manual does has no effect, and the pitch continues to modulate widely regardless of amount or modulation wheel position. No expression pedal plugged in, and pedal/on bus amount is 0.

The moog has never been gigged, had no knocks, has had light use, and is now i think 5 days out of 1st year of ownership. I think that means the warranty is done.

If anyone can think of anything dumb i've done, or that I should try before getting the machine serviced, please please let me know :(

Many thanks.
Phil

The very first thing to do is to contact Moog Music excellent, and dedicated, technical support and see what they say about it...

I think I had the same problem, the mod 2 bus amount was always full on.
I sent it to a technician to fix and it was one IC that he replaced. I don't know which one.
