Is this a normal behavior of AMOUNT TO FILTER KNOB?

Post by Fantastca » Fri Jun 27, 2014 6:48 pm

Hello everyone,

Sorry to bother you. I encountered a strange behavior with AMOUNT TO FILTER knob.
I hope you can help me out. Here is the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nl32X8O9wBM
The knob functions in a sporadic way. Also amount of that knob changes when I apply pressure on the front panel
Very weird.

Is this normal?

Thank you
V

Not normal. Looks like possibly a cracked solder joint on the panel pcb of that section. i would suggest contacting Moog Music about it and see what they say.

Very upsetting. I have just bought it brand new. Could it be damaged whilst in transit?
I wonder how easy it would be to try and fix it myself..
Anyway, I'm sending it back to where I purchased it from and ordering another one instead.

It is always better to have something fixed under warranty instead of trying to fix it yourself.
Good luck.
