Q on RME pitch bend issue---HELP!

Post by enossified » Fri Nov 22, 2013 9:13 am

I'm looking at a used RME for a very good price but the seller mentioned:
System Version 3.3. One weird issue though, whenever you select a new patch, the synth thinks the pitch bender is bent down. If you wiggle your controller's bender back to center, the synth plays properly until you select a new patch.
Has anyone else ever run into this?

Solution explained in another thread on this very forum. Next time, a little research will save you time, and save starting a redundant thread...

I think this happens when you're using old presets on a newer Voyager's software version.
There's a hidden menu in the MASTER settings where you can reset the pitch bend settings of
all presets of a bank.
The old software version could not select different up/down settings - so these presets must be
initialized.

BTW it's a good idea to update the software version 3.3 to version 3.5.

Have fun,
Rudi
