Voyager as main controller

How is the Voyager as a main controller for software etc.? I remember people complained that it wasn't that good because of the OS, but that was an early OS version. Anyone using it in this context? What's the word?

As soon as I got the Voyager, my M-Audio Radium took the Big Nap. I used the V as my main controller for quite a while, until I realized that the pitch and mod wheels don't send MIDI information. What?? Yes, this is true. Sad but...

So back comes the M-Audio with its stair-stepping mod wheel and plastic painted el-cheapo "good looks" until my true love can send all realtime controllers via MIDI.
