Looking for a Brass Knob

Post by cjolson80 » Thu Sep 26, 2013 2:53 am

Let me say first and foremost that I apologize for soliciting on the forum. I realize some people are sensitive to people doing such things.

I really want one of those awesome brass knobs, but I don't get one :(
If there is anyone here that would like to part with theirs by way of sale paid via PayPal, please contact me and we can discuss pricing.

If you're not interested in selling, please don't waste your time commenting.

You should just watch Ebay, which is a place where people go to sell things.

I appreciate the eBay suggestion. I've had it on my watch list since they started sending them out. I know about the one that's listed, but I don't deal with people that for what ever reason refuse to disclose the reserve price on an auction.
To me its like, if you want X amount for something, either start it close to it, or list it BIN. Or list it at the max price with the ability to take offers. Or, if someone asks what the reserve is, let them know and you'll either end up with a buyer or they'll move on. This guy is one of the 'I won't disclose the reserve'. I'm not stupid enough to bid up and up just to satisfy my curiosity.

Thanks again for the suggestion. I'm on it.

I saw somewhere a couple of days ago that they had only just started posting outside the USA (or maybe North America, I don't recall), and there are probably quite a few.

i didn't even get a reply on my email requests of the problems with registrating the voyager signature twice.
also the stickerrequest never got answered to.
it's a good thing the synth's are so nice, the internetcommunication on these request surely wasn't/ isn't very supporting.
small remark, but nevertheless a little pity

on the other hand i got a mail inviting me " as registrated user " for the moogfest :(
not nice, even if it's only about a sticker and/or a brass knob

Have you checked your registration details on http://www.moogmusic.com ?

You can check you registered products and shipping address there. It was confirmed to me by someone at MoogMusic that " if you are a registered Voyager owner with a valid email and mailing address, you will receive a brass knob." ... even for overseas users :-)

yes i did, and my name is on the list, however there seems to be a strange thing that you can't sufficiently register the signature serie voyager.
so registered as far as possible, giving my personal things and that i'm a voyager owner of serialnumber etc
also for the t3 ( the famous sticker thing ) i've been fully registered on the forum.
i know it's a ridiculous thing and i probably wouldn't even have mentioned it , if also not the two emails i send recently weren't answered at all. in this case 1+1+1 makes a bit more :)

yes i just checked : name, adres, serial 098, but not able to register as voyager....., the t3 doesn't appear although it has been registered too, i'm even member of the special sleepingt3 forum....
and still no contact with/reaction from the support/help
any suggestions are welcome, see if the dutch might get the golden knob this time
