that is odd. It took about a yearish, but I received a letter with about 3 stickers in it some bit ago. Plus another one filled with some more stickers from Demon Dan.

If it comes, it comes. If it doesn't, it doesn't. I bought my VOS for the synth it contains, not the knob. Personally, I think it's a nice gesture. Most companies just take your money and run. It's gotta be tough to be a synth manufacture that is so specific on their designs. If they need to spread some brass knobs to drum up some biz, it's all right by me. It's like hearing a song in a commercial and someone makes that "sellout" comment. As long as they didnt compromise their art, I think it's great. We all have bills to pay.

The way to have handled this would be to send knobs unannounced with a 'surprise' note to recent purchasers. Then when the buzz is humming in the forums, announce it officially and get current shipping addresses.

I am thinking the shipping is given to a third party and there are problems out of Moog's control. Or is this more about getting statistics than gifts to customers?

Good to know someone got one of these!
So Moog did not include instructions on how to pull your knob off?
First question...what is the mounting type on the brass knob? Is it a set screw or a slip on "D" shaft type?
The setscrew type on a Voyager is easy to remove. Turn the dial all the way CCW to access the setscrew. On mine it is a 5/64" hex allen key type. The filter pot on the Voyager is indeed a "D" type shaft, so the knob has an extra long setscrew inside. Just loosen the setscrew to remove.
Some Voyagers seem to have the "D" type large knobs on them without setscrews. Don't know how to remove them, and have no recommendations on how to do it. Guess you grasp the knob firmly, then gently tug on it, untill it comes off?

Everybody, or just people in America? I remember it's been said by a number of people on here that Moog doesn't seem to take any notice of people outside the US.

Although I've not the slightest interest in having one of these things for myself, I'd still pass mine to the guy in Australia who was interested in having one.

I received mine on August 26. Couldn't wait to mount it on my Voyager Select (Maple and Jade). It is awesome! Thank you, Moog Music!

Hey, I even think it sounds better... HaHa!
