Hi all,

How do i modulate ONLY "wave 2" with the LFO?

thanks in advance.

On mod bus 1 :

Source : lfo
Destinaton : osc2
Controller : mod1/on
Amount : to taste

That leaves mod wheel to modulate something else

This is for Voyager Old School, regular Voyager works the same but is labeled a little different I believe.

Hi Portamental,
Thanks for helping....

sorry,

I wasn't being clear.

On my Voyager:

I wish to modulate the "wave-shape" of OSC2, not it's pitch. Without modulating the "wave-shape" of OSC 1 and 3.
I don't think it's doable.

In this case.. each Osc has a wave knob... look into pot mapping.

Hmmm... I don´t think this is possible. As far as I know, all three waveforms are affected at the same time by LFO modulation.

I can't try it to confirm (my Voyager is an OS), but page 59 of the Voyager's user manual seems to indicate any single wave knob as a valid destination when pot mapping.

Portamental, hi.....

That's true, but unfortunately pot-mapping (which i use a lot and love...) doesn't get it to the LFO.

I guess we don't read the manual the same way....

When pot mapping, use mod bus 1 as source (set on LFO), and wave 2 as destination and it should send -2.5/2.5 volts of LFO at LFO rate to wave2 (0-5v range on input). Crank up wave2 knob to create an offset (assuming the knob voltage is additive) or use a CP-251 to offset the LFO voltage and mod2 as input. Pot mapping in this case would be a little different, but i don't see why it would not work.

Hm. Not really comfortable....

Once i have some bucks left, i'll ask a tech to mod my voyager: I need one switch per oscillator to turn waveshaping on or off.

i had two switches installed behind the liftingbar, as i only need to switch off two osc waveshapings ( osc 2 and/ or 3 ). when i want all three off it's simply: put off the waveshaping mod at the routing.
