OS CV to MIDI

Post by archer » Sun Dec 30, 2012 1:06 am

Shopping around for a CV to MIDI converter. Any suggestions? Obviously want it to have a fast data transfer and I've heard that the Kenton-Pro Solo MKII and the Kenton USB solo MIDI to CV converter are good.

Also debating weather or not I should forgo a hardware sequencer and stick to a DAW sequencer (saving a lot of $$$), but I do love hardware and typically make my music with the most hands-on approach possible. Thoughts and recommendations for analog hardware sequencers for the OS?

Kenton.

if you want something more robust the Akai Max49 has CV outs for pitch and gate, a programable arpeggiator and sequencer Midi and USB midi. so it can function like a kenton as well.
