Hi All,
I ran into this plugin (http://bram.smartelectronix.com/plugins.php?id=4). I'm wondering what the hardware/scientific name is? I did a search on amazon for "Waveform visualisation" but nothing bubbled up.
I'm hoping to find something that accepts 1/4~in/out. It be great to get a visualization of what I'm doing.
What is this waveform visualizer called?
Re: What is this waveform visualizer called?

Used oscilloscopes can be found for $150-$300 depending on the model and features. New ones can easily reach into the thousands, and specialized cables with 1/4" plugs and/or jacks will run you a pretty penny unless you can make them yourself.
Minitaur, CP-251, EHX #1 Echo, EHX Space Drums/Crash Pads, QSC GX-3, Pyramid stereo power amp, Miracle Pianos, Walking Stick ribbon controller, Synthutron.com, 1983 Hammond organ, dot com modular.

hey, EXCELLENT videos Voltor!
I LOVE the one where you wear welding goggles and play Control Voltage with two 1/4" jacks on your tongue!
i have seen big old used analog Oscilliscopes up for sale, and how you say CHEAP, but with BNC jacks and have wondered how I would go about rigging one up!
I wish I had paid closer attention and taken some iPhone photos and notes at Moogfest this year. There were half a dozen or so Etherwave Theremins hooked up to Oscilliscopes and Moogerfoogers for The Bob Moog Foundation, with audio out to headphones for visitors to enjoy ~ as usual as soon as I started playing I got so distracted by the fabulous SOUND i totally zoned out on the science

yeah, think Im just going to opt for a VST.
Sure would be awesome if the touch pad on the moog had a waveform view. that would be sick.,..

Thanks! That's my favorite video, too. Yeah, VST's are probably cheaper/easier to use, n2design. Best of luck!misterpete wrote:hey, EXCELLENT videos Voltor!
